The region around Marbella is also a paradise for beach lovers, boasting no fewer than 23 beaches along its 27 km coastline. These include some of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol.
Quality dominates
Over the years, the beaches around Marbella have repeatedly received awards for their cleanliness and quality, but above all for the preservation of the natural environment. For example, Cabopino beach borders a nature reserve that is also home to numerous animals. Concrete jungles and high-rise buildings are taboo here – only directly at the harbor are there a few taller buildings, which blend into the surroundings and do not appear out of place.
